Last Thursday Charlene and I came to know that there is going to be a new version of William Shakespeares eternal love story"Romeo and Juliet". You know how much we love this theme and with the choice of the lead parts we're EXTREMELY happy: The sweet and extraordinary talented 14-year-old Hailee Steinfeld in the role of Juliet and the really dashing 19-year-old Douglas Booth as her Romeo. In Franco Zeffirellis adaptation of 1968 it was the beautiful only 17-year-old Olivia Hussey who played Juliet and in 1996 was it the 17-year-old Claire Danes with Leonardo di Caprio in Baz Luhrmann's movie version. For us the newest adaptation is going to be the best one because there has never been a Juliet like Hailees. In Shakespeares tragedy Juliet is thirteen, a child-woman and the adoring Hailee Steinfeld fits just perfectly. Moreover her performance in True Grit was extraordinary, she has the potential to become one of the best actresses Hollywood has ever seen. Douglas Booth was wonderful in the movie "Worried about the boy" where he played the complexe role of Boy George. He's amazingly handsome, we're sure his Romeo is goint to break a lot of hearts. We can't wait to see the first pictures and movie excerpts...2012 will be a great movie year!
